Sales Rep Position for Outdoor Lifestyle Brand - Kovr Sunscreen
The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will already have a strong buyer base and been in business over 3 years. Relationships with outdoor lifestyle stores, sporting goods stores, and previous experience representing a line of sunglasses is beneficial. It’s essential that our sales rep be personable and professional. Travel throughout San Diego County is required.
Objectives of this Role
- Represent our company’s values and mission
- Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas
- Generate leads and build relationships, planning and organizing daily work, calling existing and potential sales outlets
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers that may include setting up product demos and presentations
- Coordinate with the founder to ensure company quotas and standards are being met
- 3-5 years in sales within a gift/resort/outdoor retail setting
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, problem-solving
- Proficiency with sales management software and/ or spreadsheets
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to store locations and events
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven success rate at levels above quotas
