Description
The San Diego State University Solar Experience is coming to campus on Wednesday, September 13, presented by the Associated Students Green Love Commission, KPBS, Center for Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Campaign. The event is for students, faculty, staff, alumni and the public. It will be held at 12 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the Theater on the 2nd floor of the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.
The SDSU Solar Experience kicks off with presentations which will cover how solar works, battery storage and integration, policy changes, available incentives, financing options, how to choose a solar provider, new solar rules and more. After the hour-long seminar with presentations by Center for Sustainable Energy, Climate Action Campaign and certified energy practitioners, there will be an electric vehicle (EV) showcase, which will allow attendees to learn how to power their home and vehicle with the sun.
This is an opportunity to meet with local solar, electric vehicle, energy efficient and other sustainability experts to learn how to be more sustainable at home and work. For more information and to RSVP please visit: sdsusolarexperience.org.
