Description
UC San Diego and BIOCOM are hosting the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) or SBA (Small Business Association) TOUR in San Diego. This means that we will have Program Managers from ~15 Federal Agencies in town to tell us the do’s and don’t’s when writing and applying for SBIR grants. The goal is to bring participants, who could benefit from learning everything they can about SBIRs to ensure a grant award. In addition, we will have a sign-up sheet for participants to meet on a 1-1 basis for ~15 minutes with a Program Manager from the corresponding Federal Agency they want to apply. The 1-1 meetings are for those who are writing a grant application and would like criticism or feedback before they submit the application. We will also have a few companies or firms offering services suitable for start-up companies.
